Community service was the theme of this beautiful Saturday afternoon. As crews covered the South end many other members from Solomons participated in numerous special events beginning with Karsyn’s Karnival an annual event which is held to heighten the awareness of Down’s syndrome. This year’s event was better than ever and it was our privilege to again support this fine event. On another note Ambulance 38, held down the task of standby at the Special Olympic softball tournament providing support to another worthy cause. By night fall the company provided 2 standby Ambulances and Engine company in support of the Calvert Marine Museum for one of their annual concerts. All in a days work on the Southside.
