Tongue Cove Boat Fire w/Video

At approximately 1540 hrs Volunteers were alerted to a potential boat fire on Tongue Cove Drive. Quickly Engine 33, Truck 3, Boat 3 and Ambulance 39 responded. Upon arrival on location of the home it was found that a 41 foot boat was fully evolved. Quickly Engine 33's crew pulled a 400 foot attack line and began an aggressive attack on the fire. Shortly after Boat 3 arrived and assisted with the rest of the extinguishment of the boat. Crew spent approximately 2 hours securing the vessel and ensuring that there was no more smoldering embers. Crews returned to service at approximately 1826 hrs.
