At approximately 0807 hrs units from Solomons and neighboring departments were alerted to a working house fire on Rousby Hall Road. Promptly units from Solomons responded arriving on scene to find a single story dwelling with fire showing from sides Alpha and Bravo. Crews quickly made contact with the occupants of the residence to find 2 pediatric occupants who received multiple burns. Solomons EMS providers and Chief 10 promptly assessed the patients and quickly dispatched the Maryland State Police Helicopter to transport the patients to Childrens Medical Center for further evaluation. During this time Engine 33's crew made an aggressive interior attack knocking down the majority of the working fire. Crews from Truck 3 and Squad 2 conducted a primary and secondary search within the residence for patients with negative results. Crews operated for approximately three hours securing the location and assisting the Fire Marshal with their investigation.
