Units were dispatched at 1700 hrs for a reported working house fire in Drum Point. Promptly Solomons units responded. Upon arrival of command nothing was evident. Once inside the structure crews were met with heavy smoke and heat conditions in the second floor bedroom on corner bravo/charlie. Engine crews quickly advanced a line through the residence to the origin of the fire to extinguish. Power to the residence was secured and both searches of the residence produced negative results for patients. Units operated for approximately two hours conducting salvage and overhauling operations at the residence clearing the incident at approximately 1900 hrs.
