Today the Solomons Volunteers packed up and headed to Newburg for the Annual Southern Maryland Firefighters Convention. This year we were able to proudly display Engine 34 and Truck 3 at the parade. We also were able to bring home the trophy for the Battle of the Buckets. All the members had a great time and we look forward to a great showing next year.

Awards Won:
Best appearing engine 1500 or bigger: Engine 34
Second best appearing heavy duty ambulance: Ambulance 39
Fourth best appearing company with 2 or more pieces
First in Battle of the buckets competition
