Shortly after 1900 hrs Solomons and surrounding companies were alerted to the 300 block of Thunderbird Drive for the reported smoke in the basement. Chief 3A arrived moments after dispatch advising nothing evident investigating. Chief 3A established command and advised Engine 33's crew to bring hooks and the thermal imager for an investigation in a wall behind the dryer. The crew pulled the front bumper line and began the search for the source of the heat within the wall. With assistance of Squad 7 and Engine 7 crews began to pull drywall and insulation. A small electrical fire was found that had been smoldering and began to catch the insulation on fire under the first floor. Quick work was made by all crews and units cleared in about a hour.
