Serious MVA at Route 4 and Coster

At approximately 1854 hrs Solomons and surrounding stations were alerted to a MVA at Coster Road and Route 4 reported serious. Promptly Squad 3, Engine 33, and Ambulance 39 responded. Upon arrival Chief 3A report a serious T-Bone accident with one patient trapped. Crews from Squad 3 and Squad 7 worked to extract the entrapped patient while Ambulance 77 provided patient care to the patient in the other vehicle. Once freed care of the trapped patient was turned over to the awaiting crew on Ambulance 39 and flown to PG Trauma for further evaluation. All units remained on scene cleaning up the remaining debris and return to service approximately an hour later.
