On Friday April 4, 2014 at approximately 2250 hrs Co. 3 was dispatched for a medical call for a 33 year old pregnant female in labor. Ambulance 37 Crew quickly responded with Medic Chief 10 to the scene. The caller advised they were in a truck outside the CVS Pharmacy in Solomons. Crews arrived on scene at the CVS Pharmacy and advised no signs of the truck that was described by the caller. Chief 10 and Ambulance 37 headed priority 1 to the Walgreens Pharmacy in Lusby to see if they may be there. Chief 10 arrived on scene to advise that patient was in active labor and baby was on its way with signs of active labor and delivery in progress. Ambulance 37 arrived and assisted Chief 10 with the delivery of a beautiful baby boy. Ambulance 37 and Chief 10 monitored both patients and transported priority 3 to Calvert Memorial hospital for further evaluation.
