The Solmons Volunteers are proud to annouce that currently at the 2014 Ocean City Fire Convention our new Rescue Engine is being displayed. Rescue Engine 3 is a 2013 Rosenbauer Commander R718 chassis powered by a Cummins ISL9 450 HP motor with a Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission. There are many different unique features to this engine that have yet to be seen in our county including a rear mounted pump. If you are out in Ocean City this week take an opportunity and stop by the DPC Emergency display and get a glimpse of our new piece.
