Today members got up bright and early headed to Mill Creek Middle School to participate in a drivers rodeo. Here members have the opportunity to build up there skills and confidence in driving the equipment at Solomons. Additionally the goal of these recent rodeos has been to give drivers experience driving the new apparatus. All members in attendance took the Ambulance thru the road course testing theirs skills in 3 point turns, backing into a loading dock, diminishing lane and serpentine maneuvers. Later on in the more a few of the Engine drivers additionally drove the course with the new pumper tanker. All volunteers were very proud that few little orange men (traffic cones) got hurt during this event.
