Engine 31 placed in service

Tonight Engine 31 was officially placed in service with the traditional pushing it into the building. Engine 31 is a 2013 Rosenbauer Commander R711 chassis with a Cummins ISL9 450 HP motor and Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission. Engine 31 will serve as our workhorse pumper as a first due pumper on most fires.

In addition at approximately 1750 hrs Engine 31 ran its first call to handle a landing site for a patient that had burns that required transport to a burn center.
