Today the Solomons Volunteers took time to honor the veterans who have faithfully served our country for many years by holding a memorial service in front of our station. President John F. Kennedy state once that "A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers." As a family of brothers and sisters, the men and woman of the fire service understand the importance for taking these times to reflect and remember the past. It is important for all of us as Americans to pay our respects to the men and woman who have served and are serving our county in order to keep us safe and out of harms way. Without them we would have never been able to live the lives we have and enjoy the freedom they fight to maintain for us. The Solmons Volunteers proudly salute and say thank you to all our veterans and currently active military personal for the amazing dedicated jobs they perform on our behalf of our great nation.
