Today the Solomons Volunteers were awarded the Seal of Excellence towards six of our units. This seal is proudly placed on the units allowing the public to know that our units are stocked and supplied to above and beyond the standards that are set forth by the state of Maryland. Ambulance 37, 38, and 39 received seals as Basic Life Support (BLS) units. Command 3, Command 3A, and Utility were awarded the seal of First Responder units. The ultimate goal of our department this will be to have the rest of our units certified to the First Responder level. We could not do this with out the contributions and support of the local community. Without your help we could never achieve these goals.
