At approximately 1830 hrs units from Solomons and Saint Marys were alerted to a serious MVA with entrapment on top of the Thomas Johnson Bridge. Upon arrival units found a t-bone accident with two patients in serious conditions. Units from both Solomons and Hollywood worked quickly to extricate the individuals to have them transported to awaiting medical facilities. Units stayed on scene for several hours cleaning up the scene so the bridge could be reopened. Unfortunately during the incident one of the patients succumbed to their injuries and passed away.

The Solomons Volunteers hearts and prayers are with the families who this unexpected tradegy has affected.
