Working House on Rousby Hall Rd

Just prior to 0800 hours units from Solomons and surrounding companies were alerted to 12330 Rousby Hall Rd in Lusby for the reported house fire. As first arriving unit Chief 3 reported a 1 story single family dwelling on a crawl with smoke showing. Not knowing if the residence was occupied the Chief entered the structure under heavy smoke condition to complete a hasty search with negative results. The fire was located rear bed master bedroom. As secondary crews from E33 (Solomons) and E71 (St Leonard) and Safety 10 arrived they were advised of the fires location and made quick work of the job containing the fire to the room of origin. The fire was considered under control in about 10 minute. Units operated completing overhaul and assisting the home owner for approximately 2 hours.
