The Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department receives a Physio Controls Lucus II Chest Compression System. This device will greatly assist in upgrading the EMS services delivered by Solomons Volunteers during CPR incidents. The department was awarded the unit through a grant process sponsored by Calvert Memorial Hospital in an effort to improve life saving efforts throughout Calvert County. The members of Solomons would like to say a huge thank you to the hospital for assisting with the upgrade and their continued support of the Calvert County Fire/EMS system. We at Solomons look forward to our continued teamwork in providing quality care to the citizens of Calvert County.
