At approximately 2229 hrs, Solomons volunteers and surrounding stations were alerted to a possible electrical fire at the Solomons KFC. Engine 31 and Ambulance 38 responded promptly arriving on scene with minor smoke conditions. Engine 31 laid out from the fire hydrant and proceeded to send crews in to investigate. Engine 291 and Engine 34 arrived providing additional support to the call. A faint haze was noticed from a smoking electrical outlet in the drive thru. Power was secured and ventilation was performed. After approximately 30 mins the scene was deemed safe and all units returned to service.
