Today Engine33/Tanker 3 received the final touches on the long awaited dump tank mural. The mural on the dump tank depicts iconic images of the Solomons community including the Drum Point Lighthouse, Cove Point Lighthouse, the Wm. B. Tennison, and the Thomas Johnson Bridge. All of these icons have played a huge part in the history of Solomons and the Solomons Volunteers are proud to have these images depicted on the new pumper tanker. Attached to this story are links to the various pieces of history about each of the icons depicted. The volunteers would like to thank again Parlett Signs for painting this beautiful mural on the side of the truck.
