On the night of December 19th the fire trucks and ambulances from Solomons and neighboring departments took Santa to see a family within the Ranch Club to help make their holiday a little bit happier. Kenny Miller and his family have been putting up a good fight against cancer and the department pulled together with help from both the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department to deliver some extra holiday cheer. Kenny is a former member of Solomons and a current member at Huntingtown. His pride and dedication to both departments is something we all can be proud of and strive to emulate. He is one of our brothers and we are here to support him on his continuous fight against cancer.
