Serious Head-On MVA on TJ Bridge

At approximately 1241 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alert to a serious MVA on the TJ Bridge. Volunteers promptly responded to the location to find two vehicles involved in a head-on collision. Members quickly went to work extracting both patients and transported them to proper emergency facilities. Rescue 3 remained on scene to assist with the clean up. Deputies closed the bridge during this time to conduct a reconstruction of the incident and reopened the bridge at 1441 hrs.
