Tonight members gathered in the back parking lot at 1900 hrs to drill on our Rescue 42 jacks. Led by Chief Ford members were instructed and demonstrated where on vehicles that key structural points existed in order to properly secure a vehicle from moving. When operating these jacks it is key to not move the vehicle at all in order to avoid any additional harm to the patient. After instructed members practiced what they learned in order to become proficient and at the same time become timely in their operations. The drill progressed for 2 hours and members felt a very rewarding experience.
