At approximately 1750 hrs local volunteers were alerted to a serious MVA involving a motorcycle at Cove Point and Little Cove Point Road. Immediately the Solomons Volunteers sprung up into action responding in Rescue 3, Ambulance 37, and Ambulance 39. Upon arrival members found an accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle. The two passengers of the motorcycle were ejected from the bike and were found to have serious conditions which resulted in fly outs to local trauma centers. Volunteers remained on scene assisting local law enforcement with traffic control during the accident reconstruction.
