Today for a second year in a row the Camp Jr Sheriff summer program decided to visit the Solomons Firehouse. Volunteers educated a group of 78 students on AEDs, High Performance CPR, and other EMS skills. This visit was not only focused on EMS but students got to also experience how to pull hoses and gained some knowledge on water streams. Ridge VFD brought over their smoke trailer and the Pax River Naval District conducted some fire extinguisher training. The day was very educational and alot of fun for all and we look forward to their visit next year.
