Today along with family and friends, the Solomons Volunteers laid to rest one of the most iconic members of our department. President Raymond Lankford, a 60 year lifetime member, was a model to all within our department of what a true volunteer is. His dedication and service to our department will forever be etched within our minds and history for the rest of time. Raymond dedicated himself to our department in order to see it to the grand vision of our future. Mr. Raymond you will be truly missed but the ideals that you instilled on this department will never leave or fade. We look forward to continuing the legacy you established here at Solomons knowing that you will forever be looking down at us proud of us and what you helped to create.
