Over the last weekend members of Solomons attended a 16 hour leadership conference in Ocean City MD. The conference was put together by University of Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute funded by a federal SAFER grant. The training was based on how to better manage growing departments, new technology challenges and bridging the generational gap. Members at our department believe through training, hard work and commitment we can better serve the community that support us. A special thanks to MFRI for providing us with this opportunity.
