Tonight members gathered to train on a variety of firefighting topics which help during responses. The night began drilling on how to enter a locked building during an known emergency. We utilized our training door which simulates a lock entryway and proceed to open it several times with and axe and haligan bar. Members next perform crosslay deployment drills outside with Engine 33. We wrapped up the evening reviewing the proper way to re-rack the crosslays. This evening was alot of review for many members but serves as a constant reminder on the need to train all the time in order to better hon our skills.
