Today the Solomons Volunteers brought home four big trophies from the Southern Maryland Fire Convention.

The awards included:

Best Appearing Ambulance (Ambulance 39 w/Cedar Point Lighthouse)
Best Appearing Engine (Engine 31)
Best Appearing Rescue Pumper (Rescue 3)
Second Best Appearing Department Overall

We would like to thank all the members who work so hard and tirelessly to clean up the apparatus to attend the parade today. These trophies show how the hard work and dedication of ours pays off in the long run. Next year we look forward to taking our new ladder truck and engine to the parade to win even more awards of recognition.
