SOLOMONS, Md.—The Solomons Volunteer Rescue and Fire Department has received a US$20,000 community outreach grant from Dominion Charitable foundation.

Dominion representatives presented the award to Chief Ford and President Pardoe during the monthly Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday. The award will be used to fund our community CPR trailer in which the Solomons Volunteers mission will be to go out into the community teaching and training the public on CPR and first aid practices.

Dominion has been a proud supporter of the Solomons Volunteers throughout the years and we look forward to their continued support for many years to come.
