At 1413 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were dispatched to a 702 box for the reported working house fire. Engine 71 arrived on scene with a single story dwelling with reported fire on side charlie. Truck 3 arrived shortly after and begun to opening up the structure to assist with extinguishment and also performed a primary search of the fire floor. Shortly after Engine 31 arrived on scene picking up Engine 71's supply line and sent crews to assist with the pulling of a second line to side charlie. The fire was deemed under control within 10 minutes and units remained on scene for approximately and hour and a half overhauling the structure and searching for extensions.
