At approximately 1039 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alerted to a confirmed attic fire on H G Trueman Road showing fire through the roof. Promptly Engine 33, Truck 3, Squad 3, and Ambulance 38 responded to the scene. Upon arrival the Tanker Task Force was requested due to the heavy volume of fire and lack of easy access to an hydrant system. Crews quickly brought the fire under control and began overhauling the residence. Crews operated for approximately 2 hours until returning to service.
