Today was a nostalgic day as old Ambulance 39 pulled out of the main station for the last time enroute to its new home in Buds Creek, MD. Maryland International Raceway (MIR) in Budds Creek decided to buy our ambulance last year to use as a resource to provide EMS care at the raceway. Today EMS Sgt Guariglia (also EMT at MIR), Chief Engineer Church and Assistant Engineer Fraser delivered the unit to the raceway. We at Solomons hope that old Ambulance 39 gives many more years of great use for the EMTs at MIR and look forward to seeing it on the track.
