At 1022 hrs the Solomons volunteers were alerted to the 100 block of Thunderbird drive in the CRE for a motor vehicle accident. Squad 3 and BLS Ambulance arrived on scene to find a SUV that had struck a forklift on the rear of a flatbed truck. The patient requested to be checkup before being released. The ambulance crew assessed and transported the patient to a local hospital and the squad crew handled clear up. Units cleared in 30 mins.
