Wrapping up the first month of the year is SVRSFD Member Spotlight, Fire Sgt. Alexander Dickson.

Alex started with SVRSFD in October 2019 as an Aide. During his 3 years here he has completed his NREMT, Fire1, EVOC, Site OPS, VME, and Pumps. Serving as a Firefighter for a little over a year, Alex has earned his promotion to Fire Sgt.

Alex joined SVRSFD to learn how he can better himself and to be able to serve his community when others are in need. He is striving to create an environment that others feel included in. With that, he has unbelievable drive to educate himself so he is ready and available to help mentor others in our Station.

Alex goes above and beyond to make others feel comfortable in learning together. It is always a privilege to work a shift with him and we at SVRSFD are proud to serve with him. Thank you for your Service Fire Sgt. Alexander Dickson.
