At approximately 1911 hrs company 3 was alerted to a reported kitchen fire. Shortly after dispatch chief 3A arrived on location and advised that there was a single story single family dwelling with smoke showing from side Alpha. Moments later Engine 31 arrived and stretching an attack line to side alpha. Truck company 3 arrived moments later to support Engine 31. The engine crew advised the fire could be handled with an extinguisher and extinguished. Command held the scene with company 3 and 7 units.
