The Solomons Volunteers regret to inform that Past Assistant Engineer William Pickerall Sr. passed away Monday, February 12th. Known to many as Willie, he served three departments in Calvert County, starting with the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department from 1990 to 2002, the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department from 2002 to 2008, and finally, our department from 2016 until his passing. If any announcement for services arise they will be passed on.
