A Busy Day of Work in the Southend

At 1311 after a few morning runs, units from Solomons and surrounding companies were alerted to El Segundo Lane for a reported shed fire. Members from Solomons turned out Engine 31, 33 and the Ladder Company with 15 personeEl. Engine 33 arrived on location with Chief 3A and found a 12x16 shed well involved. Chief 3A established command while the Engine Company went to work with the long line making quick work of the fire. The Truck Crew opened up and removed the sheds contents to assist with extinguishment. The fire was under control within 5 minutes whil Command was holding with Company 3 Units only. Units assisted the homeowner with the salvage of valuables and other items. Command was terminated at 1459. The company ended the day with an additional CO run for the Ladder Company and responded 4 EMS runs.
