Coster Road and Route 4 Multiple Subjects Trapped

On 8/15/25 at 1549, Calvert 911 started receiving multiple calls for a multi-vehicle MVA reporting several subjects trapped. Units from Solomons and surrounding stations were dispatched. Units from Solomons were on scene minutes after dispatch to find a 3-vehicle MVA with a total of 3 subjects trapped, all priority 1 Alpha patients. Squad 3 crew had all three drivers' doors popped within 13 minutes after arriving on scene. EMS crews evaluated four patients total. Two of the patients were taken to local hospitals, while MSP Aviation Command flew two others to Local Trauma Centers. Troopers were landed on Route 4 at the accident scene due to the extent of the patients ’ injuries. Command was held by Chief 3c (Bowen). St. Leonard Squad 7 handled the landing site of Trooper 7 and Trooper 6.
