| Liam Rigney
Liam Rigney has been a member of our department for about 7 months now and is being recognized as our Member of the Month for January!! Liam can be found on a daily basis running calls, training, and helping his fellow volunteers learn new skills on the ambulance. Liam frequently sleeps in and provides overnight coverage, answering calls to serve the community! Liam is passionate about helping his patients and frequently goes above and beyond to help people in our community in their time of need!
We asked Liam what some of his favorite parts were about being a member of the SVRSFD and a volunteer, and this is what he said!!
“I enjoy volunteering because it gives me an opportunity to serve my community and help give back. My favorite thing about SVRSFD is the family aspect. It feels like everyone is family here, and it’s fun to be around everyone. I love being able to come in and be around people that treat each other like family.”
Liam is a true asset to our department and we are grateful for him every day!! |
