This EMS Week, the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad & Fire Department proudly recognizes several members who exemplify dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving our community every day.

Sal Faulds – Ambulance Driver
Sal is always willing to lend a helping hand to both the community and fellow members. His dependable attitude and unwavering support for the team make him an important part of our department family.

Kayla Taylor – EMT / Ambulance Driver
Kayla is a passionate advocate for her patients and consistently goes above and beyond to help those in need. In addition to serving the community, she takes pride in mentoring and teaching younger members, helping shape the future of EMS.

Austin Cooper – EMT / Firefighter
Recently cut loose as an EMT, Austin has already shown tremendous dedication to the profession. He is constantly striving to improve his skills and become the best provider possible for his patients each and every day.

Madison Hughes – Aide
Madison is currently working toward obtaining her EMT certification and has shown incredible motivation to learn and grow. She is deeply committed to serving her community and always cares for and supports her fellow members.
