We asked Karen what her favorite part about being a volunteer and a member of the SVRSFD was, and this is what she said!

“Helping the community has been the biggest enjoyment of being a volunteer. Following closely up behind that would be the family you gain within the firehouse. The relationships you build within the firehouse and within the community is so important to what we do and make it all worth it. I enjoy the continued training that is provided to gain updated and critical changes to care. I love the commitment and passion that is displayed by members of SVRSFD. The dedication to provide to the community with what we can is incredible and admirable on many levels. The continued push to move into a growing and well-rounded firehouse is vital and acknowledged.”

We are so incredibly lucky to have such an amazing member as Karen Lacey as a part of our SVRSFD family!
