| At approximately 15:25 hrs units from Solomons and neighboring departments were alerted to and accident at Rt.4 and Patuxent Point Parkway. Units from Solomons arrived to find a 3 vehicle accident with one patient entrapped in the middle of the intersection. Crews went to work freeing the entrapped patients and tending to the others. Crews loaded and transported the patients to St. Marys Hospital with no life threatening conditions. Units clear in approximately 20 minutes
Thirty minutes after returning to the station Solomons units were again alerted to another motor vehicle accident involving a car into a tree on Cove Point Road entrapment. Chief 3 arrived on location and found a single vehicle with on patient entrapped. Rescue 3's crew went to work performing a door pop and extricated the elderly male. Crews loaded and transported the patient to Calvert Memorial with no life threatening conditions. |
