The Solomons Volunteers are proud to announce that we have been selected to receive the 2016 MSFA Fire Prevention and Life Safety Grant. With this grant program several fire departments were selected and awarded smoke detectors to be distributed out to the community. The Solomons Volunteers began this program of distribution with the Red Cross several years ago and are excited about getting more detectors in order to make a deeper impact within our community. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community.
