At approximately 1039 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alerted to a confirmed attic fire on H G Trueman Road showing fire through the roof. Promptly Engine 33, Truck 3, Squad 3, and Ambulance 38 responded to the scene. Fire Alarm turned into Garage Fire

During the afternoon hours a fire alarm box was sounded at Ann Marie Gardens Art Center. While en route Calvert Communications advised Engine 34 that they were receiving calls for smoke in the area. Engine 34 arrived on the scene to find smoke showing from the garage and advised Calvert to fill the assignment. Upon investigation units found a golf cart on fire within the garage. Thomas Johnson Bridge Fatal

At approximately 0037 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alerted to a MVA on the Thomas Johnson Bridge reported at serious. Upon arrival Squad 3 found a head-on collision with both patients heavily entrapped. Once patient had was pounced deceased on scene while crews from both Solomons and Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department worked hard and rapidly to extricate the second patient. The second patient ... No Caption Ambulance 38 (Final Inspection)

Today Final inspection happened on Ambulance 38. Soon the unit will be delivered to the station where it will be lettered and a new image of Drum Point Lighthouse will be affixed to the back star of life. It has been a long process with everything going on in the world lately but the volunteers are very excited to welcome the new unit to the station and fleet.
