Volunteers Respond to 20+ Calls

Today the Solomons Volunteers have had one of the busiest days in recent times. With the onslaught of severe weather in addition to our normal call volume the Solomons Volunteers responded to 20+ calls for service in a 24 hour period. Building Collapse Beacon Marina

Public Information Officer Norman Rea, February 07

At approximately 0915 hrs volunteers were alerted to a building collapse at Beacon Marina during the severe storms. Promptly units responded arriving on scene to find the roof of the pier collapsed on several cars and boats. One subject was found who self extracted and was checked out by EMS personal. All units returned to services at 0957 hrs.

No Caption Serious MVA Rt 4 and Ball Rd

On Wednesday January 22, 2020 at 2230 hours Ambulance 39 responded to serious MVA at the intersection of Route 4 and Ball Road. Squad 7, Ambulance 78, Ambulance 47 and Ambulance 39 were on scene to handle all three patients with significant injuries. All patients were air lifted to local trauma centers via Trooper 7 and Trooper 2.
