Horse Handling/Search and Rescue Drill

On June 5th, 2022 Circle B Farms hosted SVRSFD for a Horse Handling/Search & Rescue Drill. SVRSFD was able to complete full search and rescue scenarios that allowed members to further develop low/high angled rescue skills, grid searching, patient packaging, and search and rescue skills. Solomons Participates in Pax River Drill

PAX Baseball MD State

SPUMPS Field Day

Every year the SPUMPS organization have their annual field day at the Solomons Town Center Park. Each year the Solomons Volunteers are invited to help keep the kids cool. This year like no exception the Volunteers brought both Engine 33 and Truck 3 down to let the kids cool off in the water. Ambulance 37 Construction **UPDATED**

Earlier this year the Solomons Volunteers awarded the contract for the construction of Ambulance 37 back to Horton for the construction of the apparatus. This week marks several significant construction milestones which were document in recent reports from Horton to include the construction of the body and final painting.

Ranch Club MVA
Public Information Officer Norman Rea, May 24
At approximately 1430 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alerted to an MVA with a pole in the Ranch club. Quickly Squad 3 Ambulance 38 and Chief 3A responded. Upon arrival on location it was found there were no injuries and minor damage. Squad 3 handled traffic control while the scene was secured and refusals were obtained.
