Ambulance 38 (Final Inspection)

Today Final inspection happened on Ambulance 38. Soon the unit will be delivered to the station where it will be lettered and a new image of Drum Point Lighthouse will be affixed to the back star of life. It has been a long process with everything going on in the world lately but the volunteers are very excited to welcome the new unit to the station and fleet.

No Caption Saint Leonard Trailer Fire

Public Information Officer Norman Rea, June 01

At approximately 2151 hrs the Solomons Volunteers were alerted to a working trailer fire within Saint Leonard first due. Promptly Engine 33/Tanker 3, Engine 34, and Truck 3 responded with close to 20 volunteers to assist our neighbors in the north. Dedication of Engine 31 to Honorary Chief/Safety Officer Walter Taylor

This evening the Solomons Volunteers and Officers gathered at the station to make a special presentation to the family of Honorary Chief/Safety Officer Walter Taylor who passed away this week from his long battle with cancer.
