Patuxent high school marching band is on fire this year already, so the SVRSFD joined them for a PR event Thursday evening prior to our weekly drill to splash a little water to cool them down. With the heat index getting close to 96 degrees and humidity the PHS marching band stuck it out and worked hard to practice in preparation of giving the community a fantastic year in addition they were nice enough to share the splash with some littles that were there as well.
