At 1757 hrs Calvert 911 alerted crews from Solomons and surrounding stations to the 11100 block of Mill Bridge Road in the Lusby area for a reported chimney fire. Truck 3 arrived to find a 2 story home with a crawl space with light smoke showing on Side Charlie. Crews investigated and found an active chimney fire that had begun to spread to the walls around the chimney. Crews worked quickly to open up the walls around the chimney and extinguish the fire and preformed overhaul. Crews cleared a hour after dispatch.
