At 1806 hours Engine Tanker 3 was dispatched to St. Mary’s County to assist with a large brush fire on Nancy Ln in California. While en route crews from Bay District VFD were able to contain the fire to a 25’x25’ area and held units currently on scene. Engine tanker 3 was approaching the intersection of Chancellors Run Rd and FDR Blvd when another brush fire was dispatched in the area of Daugherty Ct. Engine Tanker 3 was first arriving along with Battalion Cheif 13 from NDW and found a 10’x10’ brush fire in the woods behind a house. Engine Tanker 3 stretched the front bumper line and extinguished the fire with the assistance of Engine Tanker 63 from the Second District VRSFD.
