On 7/12/25 at 1325 Calvert 911 began receiving calls in the 11900 block of Hemlock Road in the Ranch club area of the first due for a structure fire. Units from Solomons and surrounding company’s were dispatched. Chief 3c ( Bowen) pulled up 2 minutes after dispatch to find a 2 Story Single Family Dwelling on a basement with a Working Fire thru the roof with the whole 2nd floor fully involved.

Crew from Engine 31 stretched the 400 off the rear and pulled the line to the front door and masked up. Crew from Engine 31 encountered Heavy fire on the fire floor and had a bulk of the fire knocked in minutes before the next line was in place. Crews operated for about 4 hours preforming salvage and over hull and assisting with the Fire Marshals Office
