Truck 3 has been a ladder truck within our department which has held alot of pride for many years.  Reaching lengths of 110 ft over the years, Truck 3 has maintained its goal of reaching the top of every building in our first due with ease.  It came at no suprise there was a challenging task of replacing her in 2018 with a new unit which would serve the department for as many years as the original E-One.  The new Truck 3 came with many innovations that have allowed our department to grow and given us the percision and tools that was always desired with our truck company over the years.  Not only does Truck 3 respond to our local area but also performs many mutual aide responses to both Calvert and Saint Marys Counties.  While many departments have evolved to deploying Tower units, which utilize a bucket at the end of the ladder, Solomons maintains a straight ladder truck that we feel better suits and supports the needs of our community.
