Solomons Members Spread Chritmas Cheer and Give Back to the Community

As the members of Solomons were wrapping up tree sales, Santa runs and preparing for the holidays, we realized that an old tradition had been overlooked due to the hustle and bustle. We asked ourselves, "What is Christmas without giving back to the community that gives so much to us". With a simple phone call and an email the holiday cheer became quite evident. Gifts and donations poured in from our Volunteers with a common goal in mind. To bring back that "Ol Tradition" and spread the same cheer to a less fortunate family in a time of need. On the morning December 21st many of the members and their families took the time to visit a family in CRE to ensure that they to had a wonderful holiday. With a tree in hand and all it's trimming, a meal fit for kings and enough gifts that would make any child smile the parade of Solomons units arrived at the home of the Jones family. Being meet at the door with a mothers tears of joy and the smiles and sounds of childrens laughter erupting around us it was evident that a good deed had been done. This would be one happy holiday for all to be had. Solomons would like to thank the Jones family and the communities which we serve for your support each year. We hope that all have a happy and safe holiday season.
