Passing of Past Chief Jim Taylor

The Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department is saddened to announce the Passing of PAST Chief Jim Taylor. Chief Taylor joined our department March 25, 1987. Through the years Jim held many positions on his way to becoming our Chief in 2011. He will truly be missed by all.
Please keep his family in your prayers.

I responded to several house fires handled by Chief Taylor.I found him to always be professional , informative and helpful. Jim was an asset to the community. May he rest in peace. With my condolences .Larry Thomas former Disaster Services Coordinator,American Red Cross So Md
